The addition of tin to makes for extra corrosion resistance in seawater and other mildly aggressive environments. Naval Brass alloy’s are a very good choice for the manufacture of components to be used in a marine environment such as precision shipboard equipment, condenser plates, bushings, bearings, heat exchanger tube, turn buckles, shafting, , decorative fittings, marine hardware, missile components, baffle plates, flanges, and fittings. Naval Brass also comes in C46200, C46400, C48200, C48500 alloys.
