5086 Butt-Weld Fittings, once welded, the fitting becomes an integral part of the system offering a leak-proof pipe connection, adding strength to the system, changing flow direction gradually and utilizing the minimum amount of space and minimizes the possibility of erosion and corrosion due to fluid turbulence. Butt-Weld Fittings come in different schedules and alloys conforming to multiple standards and specifications.

Machinability for 5086-H32 is considered good.

Forming
Good.

Welding
5086-H32 is readily welded using common welding techniques.

Heat Treatment
5086-H32 is not heat treatable.
